The president of the parliament Demetris Christofias will have this afternoon separate meetings with the present and the previous governor of the Central Bank Christodoulo Christodoulou and Afxenti Afxentiou.
The meeting of Mr Christodoulou will be held at 11:45 and at the end of this meeting Mr Christofias will see Mr Afxentiou.
According to SW sources the meetings were scheduled a long time ago when the change of the leadership of the Central Bank arose but they have been postponed to today due to other obligations of Mr Christofias. Nevertheless, it is expected that Mr Christodoulou and Mr Afxentiou will remark upon the recent economic developments of the island.
