Cypriot and Greek FMs hold telephone conversation in view of extraordinary FAC

Foreign Affairs Ministers of Cyprus and Greece, Nikos Christodoulides and Nikos Dendias, had a telephone conversation on Wednesday in view of the upcoming extaordinary video conference of the EU Foreign Affairs Council on Friday during which EU FMs will discuss, among others, Turkey`s actions in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Dendias wrote on his Twitter account that he spoke by phone with Christodoulides and that they discussed about Turkey’s illegal activity in the Eastern Mediterranean, in view of the upcoming extraordinary FAC.

The Greek FM also wrote in another tweet that he met with Israeli Ambassador in Athens, Yossi Amrani, and that Greek - Israeli issues and Turkish illegal actions in the Eastern Mediterranean were the focus of their discussion.
