De Soto: “Things will change in case of failure to reach agreement”

UN envoy, Alvaro de Soto, said that a failure to reach an agreement and achieve a settlement in Cyprus by the end of February means that things will change after April 16, the date when Cyprus is to sign the Accession Treaty.

Mr. De Soto noted that the visit of the UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, to Greece, Cyprus and Turkey is of great significance and pointed out that Mr. Annan is after a complete agreement.
