The Council of Ministers appointed on Thursday Stelios Himonas, General Director of the Ministry of Justice, as investigating officer for the involvement of Marios Ieronymides in the consultations for the investment of Chinese company Far Eastern Phoenix at the old Larnaca airport.
Minister of Communications and Works Efthimios Flourentzos expressed confidence that the investigation is completed as soon as possible to clear up the problem emerged for the interested Chinese investors.
As known, Far Eastern Phoenix is included in China’s Watchlist because of the uproar caused by the involvement of a civil servant in consultations on promoting investment at the old Larnaca airport.
