09/05/2003 13:33
‘Today is an important day. The embargo must be lifted’, said the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his arrival in the T/C occupied areas on Friday at the Lefkoniko airport, received by Dervis Eroglu and the so-called T/C vice-president, Serdar Dentash.

Mr. Erdogan commented on the lifting of restrictions on free movement across Cyprus, stressing that this is an opportunity to achieve a solution and supported that there are “two equal states, two languages and two religions” and solution should be based on this reality.

The Turkish Prime Minister assured that Turkey will always be on the T/C side and stressed that discord serves those who want to harm ‘TRNC’.
