Greek Army Commander, Nicolaos Douvas visited Cyprus on Thursday to have meetings with the island’s officials. Mr. Douvas was received by the Cyprus President, Tassos Papadopoulos and the House Chairman, Demetris Christofias.
As the CNA report, Mr. Douvas said that Greece supports the efforts for a settlement on the island and stands by Cyprus. The Commander also met Defence Minister, Kyriakos Mavronikolas and Defence House Committee Chairman, Yiannakis Omirou.
