Police have reported six citizens and one establishment owner during 1,610 checks in the last 24 hours for violation of COVID-19 measures.
A police spokesman told CNA that 408 checks in Nicosia were conducted with only one citizen fined and no reports issued after 104 checks in Limassol.
Two individuals were fined in Larnaca after 422 checks, another one in Paphos as well as an establishment owner after 117 checks and in Famagusta two citizens were reported following 350 checks. In the Morphou area, no one was reported after 59 checks. No violations were reported by the Traffic, Port and Marine Police following a total of 200 checks.
