Police reported 22 individuals and five establishment owners for violations of COVID-19 measures in the last 24 hours.
A Police spokesperson told CNA that a total of 2,262 checks were carried out in the last 24 hours ending at 6:00 local time across the government-controlled areas.
In Nicosia, the Police carried out 645 checks reporting one individual and two shop owners, in Limassol 260 checks were carried out with 8 individuals and two shop owners reported, in Larnaca 2 individuals and another shop owner were reported following 520 checks, in Pafos 4 individuals were reported after 76 checks, in Famagusta 364 checks were carried out with 7 individuals reported, while 166 checks were made in Morphou with no fines issued.
The Traffic Department carried out 198 checks, with no fines issued.
