Cyprus participates in International Chamber of Shipping meeting in London

The board of the International Chamber of Shipping, representing national shipowners’ associations on a worldwide level, convened in London on Tuesday. Cyprus was represented by Themis Papadopoulos, President of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, who is also the ICS vice-chairman.

The meeting was also attended by the Director General of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Thomas Kazakos.

During the meeting, participants examined technical and environmental maritime issues arising from the implementation of environmental regulations from the EU and the International Maritime Organisation. They also discussed the future strategy of the international maritime industry.
