Travellers from Cyprus will need to self-isolate upon arrival to UK from Sunday

30/10/2020 09:01

The UK Government has decided to remove Cyprus from the “green” Travel Corridor list as of this coming Sunday (from 4am UK time), due to the rise in coronavirus cases.

This means that travellers arriving to the UK from Cyprus will need to self-isolate for 14 days.

The decision was announced by Transport Secretary Grant Shapps.

The UK Government adds or removes destinations from the Travel Corridor list every Thursday, based mainly on the number of coronavirus cases per 100,000 people on a rolling seven-day basis and  the rate of increase.

Along with Cyprus, Lithuania is also added to the quarantine list.
