14/08/2003 12:39
The first official indications on July tourist arrivals will be released on Monday, a CYSTAT announcement said on Thursday.

Finance Ministry’s technocrats expect July arrivals to reach last year’s levels, reflecting a small but stable recovery after the downward trend from the war in Iraq.

Tourist arrivals and income for the first half of 2003 dropped by 12.3% and 17.1% respectively, while June arrivals fell by 10.6%.

On Friday, August 22, CYSTAT will announce the figures on arrivals and departures for the first four months of 2003, as well as the harmonized Consumers’ Index for July 2003.
