Four rescue flights have been arranged to transfer stranded Thomas Cook passengers back home, according to a source from Hermes Airports, the company that runs Larnaka and Pafos International Airports.

Due to Thomas Cook's ceasing of operations, all of the airline’s flights from Larnaka and Pafos airport to the UK have been cancelled.

One flight from Larnaka International Airport and another three from Pafos International Airport have been arranged to repatriate passengers who were scheduled to fly between 23 and 25 September.

The new flights will be operated by Titan Airways, EasyJet and Miami Air International.

A Condor airlines flight scheduled for today will operate normally.

Hermes said that thirty two round trips will be cancelled between 23 and 29 September, 24 from Larnaka and eight from Pafos.
