BOCY sells non-core assets

01/12/2015 10:34
Bank of Cyprus proceeded to the sale of three non-core assets in Greece of a total value of €9,6 mn according to an announcement today by BOCY.

As it is added, the sold assets are two hotels in the island of Kerkyra and one hotel in Glyfada, Athens for which an open auction procedure was followed.

It is noted that the disposal of the three properties came at a difficult period for the Greek economy, with the selling price being along the bank's estimates.

The announcement states that with this strategic move, BOCY achieves the lowering of its exposal risk in Greece while the process of selling remaining properties in Greece continues.
