New members in HB BoD

A voting for the election of new members of the board of Hellenic Bank was held yesterday during the annual general meeting of the bank. Four existing members of the BoD were re-elected and two new members were elected.

According to the bank’s announcement, following voting by poll David Walen Bonanno, Andreas G. Haritou, Bert Pijls and Marinos S. Giannopoulos were re-elected.

The new members elected are Andreas Christofides and Lambros Papadopoulos and their appointment to the BoD of the Bank will be effective immediately upon approval by the Central Bank.

The 99.88% of valid votes were in favor of David Bonanno, Bert Pijls and Marinos Giannopoulos, 99.85% voted in favor of Andreas Christofides and Lambros Papadopoulos and 85.08% in favor of Andreas Haritou.

Nominees Constantinos Adamides and Michalis Chatzipantelis failed to be elected to the Board.

The annual general meeting of the bank examined and approved unanimously on a show of hands the directors’ report, the financial statements and the auditor's report for 2014.

The remuneration policy report was also approved by voting by poll with 99.32% of the votes cast.

KPMG were reappointed as auditors of the company and it was decided unanimously on a show of hands that the Board of Directors be authorized to fix the remuneration of the auditors.
