Transport Minister, Haris Thrasou, stated on Tuesday that the Council of Ministers’ talks on the CYTA-LTV agreement were not brought to completion.
According to Mr. Thrasou, this was attributable to the fact that the Council of Minister is still collecting information on the case. “The Board of Directors of CYTA has been submitted a number of questions. The Council of Ministers will express its opinion at its next meeting, which will be set shortly”, he said.
As regards to the problems in Cyprus Airways, the Minister said that the pilots’ trade union has on its disposal the answer of the Cyprus Airways Management. “I hope there will be a rapprochement between the two sides via systematic meetings and talks”, Mr. Thrasou concluded.
