Cabinet approves SEC, CSE & CTO budgets

During the meeting of the Cabinet last week, a number of budgets were approved including the budget for the Securities & Exchange Commission for 2002 which includes income of CYP 590.000 for the year resulting from the 10% added onto revenues of the Stock Exchange for the purpose. Total expenditure of the Commission for the year is expected to reach CYP 1.629.777. The budget for the Cyprus Stock Exchange for 2002 includes revenues of CYP 5.493.125 and expenditure of around CYP 8.235.660.

The budget for the State Fair Authority was also approved for 2002, according to which revenues are expected to reach CYP 2.036.970 with expenditure in the region of CYP 2.435.400. For the Cyprus Tourism Organisation the budget provides for expenditure of around CYP 36.940.000 and state subsidies of CYP 18.360.000. Revenues of the Organisation from other sources are expected to reach CYP 18.580.000.
