Plenary on insolvency on Apr 17

09/04/2015 11:53
On April 17, as it was originally planned, the plenary will convene to vote on the five draft laws on insolvency.

After two days of consultations between the parties and the parliament’s administration the date was determined.

The session will be chaired by the House Speaker Yiannakis Omirou since the Constitution does not expressly prohibit the presence of the parliament speaker at meetings of the body when he acts as President of the Republic.

On the same day the House will deal with the referral of the Law on property buyers for which no title deeds where issued and the contractor or developer is struggling to pay the bank or is under liquidation.
