The Ministry of Health announced on Thursday 121 new coronavirus cases out of 2,530 laboratory tests.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, Cyprus recorded 4,051 positive cases.
There are 27 people being treated in the Famagusta General Hospital of whom four in the Advanced Care Unit. Four patients are being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of the Nicosia General Hospital, while seven others in the COVID19 ward.
Fifty of today`s positive cases were found out of 700 samples taken through contact tracing of confirmed cases, 49 out of 338 samples taken upon private initiative, 9 out of 213 tests carried out in the Microbiology Laboratories of the General Hospitals, 6 out of 1,114 samples taken at airports and 7 out of 165 tests done after GP referrals.
