Cabinet to take decisions on further handling of the pandemic this Wednesday

A ministerial committee discussed on Monday ways to further handle the coronavirus pandemic, in  a session under the President of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, while decisions are expected during a Cabinet meeting, this Wednesday.

According to a written announcement by Deputy Government Spokesman, Panayiotis Sentonas, the session was also attended by four members of the epidemiological and scientific team of the Ministry of Health.

During the meeting, members took stock of the situation and discussed in length further actions to handle the coronavirus pandemic, Sentonas said.

He noted that decisions on concrete issues discussed on Monday are expected to be taken by the Cabinet, which convenes on Wednesday, April 8.
