Cyprus announced 21 new COVID-19 cases on Monday

The Cyprus authorities announced on Monday 21 new Covid-19 cases. The 12 cases were located via tracing of confirmed cases, 3 are related to the General Hospital in Paphos and 6 are people who returned to Cyprus from 3 European countries and had symptoms.

So far Cyprus has a total of 116 cases. Another 39 cases were confirmed in the Turkish-occupied areas of Cyprus.

The epidemiological monitoring unit of the Health Ministry has already started tracing the contacts of all confirmed Covid-19 positive cases and will proceed with taking samples in order to make specialised tests, the press release says.
