President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, urged the citizens on Thursday to meticulously observe measures against COVID-19 as cases are on the rise.
"I appeal to all my fellow citizens: At this time we have to show strength once more, we have to meticulously observe hygiene measures and wear our mask in order to protect our family, our loved ones, but also ourselves", the President wrote on his twitter account.
The Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that 93 cases were detected in the last 24 hours out of 3,877 laboratory tests. Since the outbreak of the pandemic in Cyprus the total number of people infected stands at 2,274.
