The road map for the implementation of the new integrated health information system was agreed in a meeting Thursday, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy Kyriakos Kokkinos, the State Health Services Organization (OKYpY) announced.

In an announcement SHSO says that this new digitized system is one of the  biggest reforms in public health and during the meeting the roadmap was agreed for all the phases of the project until its full implementation.

The system is estimated to be completed in approximately two years with a budget of more than €46 million.

It includes the functional, operational and technological modernization of all departments and hospitals of SHSO, as well as the Directorate of Primary Health Care.

SHSO said that with the implementation of the System, the Organization will be able to offer immediate and more efficient service to citizens. The patient's details will be in a single digitized file, offering the possibility of more direct access to users, but also better service to the citizens, it said.
