Seven COVID-19 cases announced on Tuesday

Another four cases of COVID-19 were announced on Tuesday by the Ministry of Health in Cyprus bringing the total of cases announced today to seven.

Three new confirmed cases were announced earlier today.

According to a new press release issued by the Ministry of Health, two of the four persons who tested positive for the virus are the contacts of one of the cases which were detected yesterday and was a contact of a case announced on 24/7.

The other two persons had symptoms and were tested one privately and the other one by the General Hospitals` Microbiology Labs.

They have no travel history or contact with any other case and all four were detected in Limassol.

Therefore, out of 1,974 laboratory diagnoses, seven cases were detected today with the total number of cases of COVID-19 in Cyprus increasing to 1,067.
