The Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy announced on Wednesday the temporary revocation of the European Digital Certificates (EUDCC) related to the vaccination and infection of individuals who have been diagnosed positive for COVID-19 disease, during the period they remain under mandatory isolation or self-isolation.

It is noted that in these cases the result of the safepass test via the CovScan Cyprus application will be "Red: Not Valid."

Ιt is also stressed in the Deputy Ministry`s announcement that the updated national rules for checks and the updated Trusted Public Keys are required to ensure the smooth operation of the CovScan Cyprus application and reliable control results, reminding that the update of the national rules should be performed at least once a day.

The time and date for the last update are indicated at the end of the application’s Settings option, under the Reload option. If no date is indicated (or if the date is not today), users are asked to verify the application`s internet connectivity and try again.
