Three more COVID19 cases in Cyprus

The Cyprus authorities announced three more COVID19 cases on Thursday afternoon. Earlier, one more case was confirmed, a passenger from the UK.

According to an announcement issued by the Health Ministry, the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics which runs all the tests on the island, confirmed three more cases.

One is an individual who was admitted yesterday to the Limassol General Hospital and had returned from a trip to Italy. This individual will be transferred to the Famagusta General Hospital.

The second case is an individual who was in self isolation and has mild symptoms. The person has returned from a trip to Greece and will remain in self isolation.

The third case is an individual who returned from a trip to Germany and will remain in self isolation. This person has no symptoms.

The authorities are tracing the contacts of all the above individuals for tests.

Cyprus so far has twelve cases, two of them in the occupied by Turkey northern part of the island. These individuals are tourists from Germany.
