Ιστορικό της Options Eurocongress

Η CAD Investments Limited συστάθηκε στην Κύπρο ως ιδιωτική υπεράκτια εταιρεία το 1998. Το 1991 η Options Eurocongress SA συστάθηκε στην Αθήνα ως ιδιωτική εταιρεία από τον Ανδρέας Δράκου και τον Μάριο Παπαδόπουλο με σκοπό την οργάνωση συνεδρίων για ιατρικούς συνδέσμους, σε συνεργασία με τα διοικητικά συμβούλια των ιατρικών συνδέσμων στην Ευρώπη.

Οι εργασίες της Options Eurocongress SA μεταφέρθηκαν στην Κύπρο το 1992 στην CAD Investments Limited η οποία άλλαξε ταυτόχρονα το όνομα της σε Options Eurocongress (Cyprus) Limited. To 1996 η εταιρεία μετατράπηκε σε Κυπριακή τοπική εταιρεία.

Το 1997 μετονομάστηκε σε Options Eurocongress και μετατράπηκε σε δημόσια εταιρεία, το 1996 οι Ανδρέας Δράκου και Μάριος Παπαδόπουλος κατείχαν από 50% ο καθένας του μετοχικού κεφαλαίου τύπου Α και μετά εξέδωσαν στην Mary O' Doherty 10% του συνόλου του μετοχικού κεφαλαίου σε τύπου Β μετοχές. Το κεφάλαιο τύπου Α είχε δικαίωμα ψήφου, συμμετείχε στα κέρδη. Το μετοχικό κεφάλαιο στις 31 Οκτωβρίου 1996 ανήρχετο στις £100,000.

Πριν τη δημοσιοποίηση της Εταιρείας, το σύνολο του μετοχικού κεφαλαίου μετατράπηκε σε τύπου Α. Στις 18 Αυγούστου 1997 η Εταιρεία εισάχθηκε στο ΧΑΚ και άντλησε £950,000. Στις 31 Μαρτίου 1999 1,274,6000 Δικαιώματα Αγοράς Μετοχών εξασκήθηκαν με αποτέλεσμα της άντληση £955,950.

Από την ίδρυση της μέχρι σήμερα η εταιρεία ανέπτυξε και επέκτεινε τις δραστηριότητες της με επιτυχία, ώστε να είναι γνωστή για τις υπηρεσίες της σε αρκετούς παγκόσμιους και Ευρωπαϊκούς ιατρικούς συνδέσμους. Κυριότεροι σκοποί για τους οποίους συστάθηκε και που σήμερα αποτελούν τους τομείς δραστηριότητας της είναι:

· Προσφορά επιλογής τρόπων προς τους ιατρικούς συνδέσμους για τη διεξαγωγή των συνεδρίων τους.

· Κάλυψή όχι μόνο της οργάνωσης συνεδρίων των ιατρικών συνδέσμων αλλά και άλλων αναγκών όπως διαχείρισης των μητρώων των μελών των συνδέσμων και marketing, με σκοπό την αύξηση των μελών των συνδέσμων.

· Οργάνωση προγραμμάτων συνεχούς μόρφωσης και εκπαιδευτικών σεμιναρίων για ιατρικούς συνδέσμους.


Profile

The company was established in Cyprus in 1988 as a Private Limited Company. In March 1997, it was converted to a Public Limited Company.

The company is the holding company of the Options Group. The principal activity of the group is the organisation of medical and other conventions in Cyprus, Greece and other European Countries.

Options Cassoulides is the result of the merge of Options Eurocongress Ltd established in 1991 and J. G. Cassoulides & Son Ltd established in 1930, two listed companies in the Cyprus Stock Exchange. The main activities of the merged company are the organization of congresses and incentive travel, printing, publishing and other related business. Options Cassoulides consists of 30 companies in six countries and nine cities. Two hundred and sixty people are currently employed by the Group. Options Eurocongress founded in 1991 , has established itself as one of the leading and fastest expanding Professional Congress Organizers (PCO), and Event planners in Europe. Specializing in tailored made events that aim to fulfill clients' needs and even exceed their expectations , OPTIONS EUROCONGRESS has grown to operate SIX independent offices (USA, UK, BELGIUM, SWITZERLAND, GREECE, CYPRUS).

J.G. Cassoulides & Son Ltd, founded in 1930 , has established itself as the leading printing company in Cyprus. Since its incorporation, it has continuously upgraded with the latest in printing technology and equipment. Its activities cover a wide span in newspapers, high quality magazines, books and a wide variety of printing work.

During April 2000 Options Eurocongress and J G Cassoulides merged, thus taking advantage of the synergies created in the creation of new services from the Congress and Event Division. Taking advantage of offices world wide resulting from the merger, allows for further expansion of the printing and publishing division of the Options Cassoulides Group in conjunction with the core business of the Congress & Events Division.
