Board Member

He has 35 years of experience in the Banking and Insurance fields. He studied Accounting and Economics in UK and Business Administration in USA. He is member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants UK and has a Master in Business Administration. He worked for 16 years at the Cyprus Development Bank from where he left at the position Higher Manager in 1983 to become the first General Manager of the Cyprus Investment and Securities Organization CISCO. In February 1988 he was appointed Minister of Defense of Cyprus, a position that he held until February 1993. In October 1998 General Manager and First Executive Official of ALICO Insurance company and was appointed at the Board of Directors of CYPRIALIFE Insurance company. Since February 1999, his duties were broadened, by taking charge of the General Management of the Group of Insurance companies ZOE as well as the General Department of Laiki Group. In May 2000 he got the position of Executive Advisor and First Executive Officer of Lambousa Venture Capital Ltd. Since the 9th of November 2000 he is a member of the Board of Directors of MarkeTrends Financial Services.
