Alexandros Lordos graduated from the University of Cambridge in the UK in 1994 with a degree in Modern and Medieval Languages. In 2001, he obtained a Master's degree in Counselling Studies from the University of Durham. From 2006 until 2008 he worked at the office of the President of the Republic of Cyprus as researcher and political analyst. He then obtained a degree in Psychology from the University of Crete followed by a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Cyprus in 2016. Alexandros Lordos is Head of Learning and Innovation at the Centre for Sustainable Peace and Democratic Development, based in Brussels. He is also a member of the boards of directors of several private companies, visiting scientist at the School of Public Health of Harvard University and a senior associate of the International Peacebuilding Advisory Team. He is the writer of award-winning papers on peace and psychology.
