He was born in Famagusta in 1962. He studied at University of California, Berkley from 1981 to 1985 where he got his BSc in Accounting and Finance.
He had post-gradual studies at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwester University in Chicago from 1987 to 1989, where he got his MBA in Marketing and Finance.
He has worked at Equitable Financial Services in San Francisco, USA from 1985 to 1987 as Financial Advisor where he gained many awards for his methodology and effectiveness.
He returned to Cyprus in 1989 where he created and developed the La Lenia Jewellery Ltd –shop chain – at the unoccupied part of Famagusta.
