After his graduation from the Larnaca Pancyprian Gymnasium he completed his degree in Business Management with specialisation in Marketing, at Ealing College in England. He returned to Cyprus in 1983 and immediately started working on the family businesses, taking over the management of the departments of Marketing and Operations in Petrol and Gas Commerce. He was the President of the basketball department of Pezoporikos Larnaca.
