Harmonized inflation stood at 0.3% in October 2014 from 0.0% in September, according to Cystat data released on Tuesday.
In October 2013, HICP fell by 0.5%.
The sector of clothing and footwear increased 3.9% compared to 2% in September while the sector of alcoholic drinks and tobacco rose 2.4% compared with 1% in the previous month.
The sector of housing, water, electricity and gas recorded a decrease of 2.5% against a decline of 2.6% in September.
The drop in food and non-alcoholic drinks rose to 1.2% compared to -0.3% last month.
Significant decrease of 2% was recorded in the sector of education.
For the period January – October, HICP declined 0.2% compared to the corresponding period of 2013.
