The State Health Services Organisation (OKYpY) says in a press release that with substantial investments in infrastructure, equipment, human resources, education and research, it upgrades the level of health services.

It adds that it is the largest provider of health services in Cyprus, as it includes nine hospitals, 38 health centers, 75 ambulances, 24 stations and mental health services.

The Organisation's human resources, which exceeds 7,400 staff, includes more than 750 doctors, who cover a huge range of specialties, offering specialization and innovative treatments.

It further says that it continues to fulfill its  main mission which is to lay a solid foundation for the administrative and financial autonomy of all public hospitals, by constantly upgrading the health services offered to the citizens.

It adds that in order to better serve the citizens, the Organisation offers the public the opportunity to get to know and obtain useful information about its hospitals, directorates, departments and services as well as to arrange doctor appointments  online as well, through its renewed website https://shso.org.cy and by phone calling the contact telephones of its hospitals, from Monday to Friday between 7:30 to 15:00.
